Adding an SSD to my 2017 home server
A 500 gig PNY SSD going into the 2017 server. The mounting screws don’t fit, so it just sits there.
This is my 2017 home server, and today I’m installing an SSD. But first, we need to take out the hard drive.
This is a 500 gig SSD from PNY. Let’s get it installed.
So, the SSD is actually supposed to go on the back of this thing, but these screws are way too big for these threads. So yeah, it’s just going to sit there. I don’t see a problem.
Now that I got it installed for the most part, I’m going to use it to dual boot with Linux.
