Look what I brought home
Two 24 bay drive bays from work. Each one fits 24 three and a half inch hard drives.
You won’t believe what I just brought home from work. I got not one but two 24 bay drive bays. Each one of these can fit 24 three and a half inch hard drives.
I don’t even know if there’s anything inside, but let me figure out how to open this. It looks like there’s just a few screws on the side.
Okay, I just opened it up. One of the screws was stripped, so that was a little bit annoying.
It looks like you can fit standard ATX motherboards along with standard expansion cards, and it’s pretty sweet. It came with this RAID controller to manage all of the hard drives.
I’m pretty sure there’s nothing in this one, but I’m going to check anyways. Okay, there’s no screws on this one. Like I thought, there’s nothing inside.
I think these are standard 120 mil fans, so I might be able to fit a radiator.
Okay, I got two of them, and I’m going to turn one of them into a storage and media server. But let me know what I should do with the other.
