Fixing my brother's gaming PC
It had been overheating, so we pulled the cooler and reapplied thermal paste. Pretty simple fix.
Let’s fix my brother’s PC. It’s been overheating lately, so we’re going to need to take off the cooler and reapply some thermal paste.
First, let’s take off the cooler. Make sure to keep track of the screws.
Okay, let’s wet down the CPU. And there we go.
Now it’s finally time to turn on the PC to make sure all the temps are stable, and we can finally get the glass panel back on.
Looks like it was a pretty simple fix. Everything’s looking normal now. The Cinebench score looks pretty good too.
